Nats retaining entire coaching staff for 2011

CINCINNATI -- Not only will Jim Riggleman return as manager of the Nationals in 2011, his entire coaching staff will do the same. The coaches were given the news last week, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation.

Bullpen coach Jim Lett, bench coach John McLaren and first-base coach Dan Radison will return for a second season, while third-base coach Pat Listach and hitting coach Rick Eckstein will come back for a third season. Pitching coach Steve McCatty, who replaced Randy St. Claire in June 2009 will return for his second full season.

It was revealed in September that Riggleman will return for a second full season as manager of the club in 2011. In his first full year as manager of the Nationals, Riggleman guided them to a 69-93 record, a 10-game improvement from last year.
