The Nationals released their 2007 Spring Training schedule on Thursday. Washington will play 32 games, 14 of them at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Fla.
The Nats also will play a pair of exhibition games against the Orioles in Columbus, Ohio -- site of Washington's new Triple-A affiliate -- and Norfolk, Va.
The Nationals' first exhibition game is on March 2 against the Dodgers at Vero Beach. Washington's 2007 Space Coast Stadium debut comes a day later, on March 3 vs. Baltimore.
Those enjoying short vacations in the Sunshine State can catch three Nationals games in four days from March 21-24 as the Braves (March 21), American League champion Tigers (March 23) and World Series champion Cardinals (March 24) will visit Space Coast Stadium.
The Nationals also will play the National League East champion Mets on March 10, 12 and 27 at Space Coast Stadium.
Washington will celebrate its new affiliation with the Columbus Clippers by hosting Baltimore at Cooper Stadium on March 29 at 4:05 p.m. ET. The last big-league club to play in Ohio's state capital was the Yankees in 1997. A day later, the Nationals and O's will play at Harbor Park in Norfolk, Va., site of Baltimore's new Triple-A club.
The Nationals will play their last exhibition game at Robert F. Kennedy Stadium on March 31 against the Orioles.
