Olsen not concerned about tough outing

Olsen not concerned with struggles

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Nationals left-hander Scott Olsen made his second appearance of the spring on Saturday afternoon, giving up two runs in three innings against the Mets. His worst inning came in the third, when he gave up RBI base hits to Bobby Kielty and Ramon Castro.

Olsen had a feeling he might not have a good day because his fastballs were up in the strike zone during his bullpen session.

"It was worse than my last start," Olsen said. "Everything was up in the zone -- fastball and changeup. I was up in the zone during warmups. We just couldn't make adjustments at all throughout the day, but the results in Spring Training are secondhand. We have some work to do from today."
