The Washington Nationals have renewed their working agreement with Angela T. Gordon, PT, DSc, MPT, COMT, ATC, retaining her as the team's physical therapist. Additionally, the Nationals have added Kwang Han, PT, MPT, to assist with the club's physical therapy efforts. Nationals Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.

Gordon provides comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services for the Washington Nationals' players, covering the team's pre-season evaluations in Florida and 40 home games during the regular baseball season. Among the job requirements, Gordon identifies players at risk for chronic injury and develops programs for at-risk players, making program modifications needed to maintain a level of physical excellence for the Nationals' players. With more than 11 years of clinical experience, Gordon earned her Master's of Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Dayton, Ohio, in 2002, and obtained her Doctorate of Science degree from Andrews University in Michigan in 2012. Gordon is a certified orthopedic manual therapist through the NAIOMT and is certified at dry needling. In April of 2013, Gordon became a published author in the IJSPT: Relationships between core strength, hip external rotator muscle strength, and star excursion balance test performance in female lacrosse players. She is the clinic director and outpatient orthopedist rehabilitation specialist at Patriot Sportsmedicine, a Physiotherapy Associates Company in Alexandria, Virginia.

Gordon has worked extensively with numerous Major League Baseball, Canadian Football League and European basketball players. Additionally, she works with many high school and collegiate athletes and has extensive experience in ACL prevention and the female athlete triad. She has had additional specialty training in treating the spine and TMJ joint.

As the owner and creator of F.A.S.T.™ (Female Athlete Sports Training program), Gordon oversees a cadre of clinicians throughout the East Coast. She is an active educator with the George Mason University athletic training department, and has taught multiple continuing education courses for physical therapists and other health care providers on various topics, including: the sacroiliac joint, ACL prevention and rehabilitation, rotator cuff rehabilitation, prevention of injuries in judo, and the overhead throwing athlete.

Han is an orthopedic physical therapist with 11 years of experience and is the co-clinic director for Patriot Sportsmedicine.

Han graduated from Old Dominion University in 2002 with his Master's of Physical Therapy.
