According to Johnson, Tumpane had a wide strike zone and felt that Suzuki should have been more aggressive at the plate.
In retrospect, Suzuki felt he should have swung at the pitch.
"It was a pretty big spot in the game. It wasn't just a call to put you in the hole. It was a cause to get you out. That's what made me a little bit angry," Suzuki said Monday. "It is what it is. You have to move on, forget about it. I haven't really thought about it. I'm getting ready to play today."
