Detwiler set to make start; Haren getting healthy

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals' lineup is finally getting healthy, and manager Davey Johnson said on Tuesday that the starting rotation is following suit.

Johnson said that Ross Detwiler will make his regularly scheduled start against the Brewers on Wednesday. The left-hander's health was in question after his back stiffened during his last start in New York on Friday, but he threw a bullpen session on Monday afternoon and said on Tuesday that he felt good.

Johnson also said that Dan Haren, who has been on the disabled list since June 23, will throw a simulated game on Wednesday. Barring any setbacks, the veteran right-hander will reclaim his spot in the starting rotation on July 8 or 9.

"It depends on how [Haren] comes through tomorrow," Johnson said. "But the ball's coming out of his hand real good, his cutter had a little better tilt. Everything's good."
