Nationals announce 2014 spring slate

The Nationals have unveiled their 2014 Spring Training schedule, which includes 14 home games at Space Coast Stadium and a preseason exhibition against the American League Central champion Tigers on March 29 at Nationals Park.

Washington opens its regular season on March 31 in New York against the Mets.

The Nats begin their Grapefruit League slate on Feb. 28 in Port St. Lucie, Fla., against the Mets before opening their home schedule on March 1 against the Braves.

Among the Nationals' Grapefruit League schedule highlights are visits by the Yankees (March 11), the National League champion Cardinals (March 9) and two by the Tigers (March 16 and 20).

Spring Training season-ticket packages including all 14 home games will available online beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Nov. 15.

Flex packages, which allow fans to purchase tickets to any three Spring Training home games, also will be available online beginning Jan. 13 for as low as $33 per plan.

Single-game Spring Training tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 1 online, at the Space Coast Stadium box office or by calling 888-632-NATS (6287).

Tickets for the exhibition against the Tigers are included in all 2014 regular-season full, half and partial season-ticket packages.
