Marquis logs first rehab start in Class A

NEW YORK -- Nationals right-hander Jason Marquis, on the disabled list with bone chips in his right elbow, had his first rehab assignment for Class A Potomac on Tuesday night. He allowed three runs in 3 2/3 innings in an 8-5 loss to Winston-Salem. Marquis threw 54 pitches, 36 for strikes.

It will be interesting to see where Marquis' next start will be. He was hoping to start for Double-A Harrisburg and then return to the big leagues after that.
